Demon Slayer 2: Entertainment District Arc is the official title of the second season

Aniplex, during the special streaminmg “Kimetsu TV News Announcement Special”, revealed some news regarding Demon Slayer, first of all by formalizing the title of the second season of the anime that will be Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yūkaku-hen (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc).

The new season of the saga based on the work of Koyoharu Gotōge, which will follow the events of the film Demon Slayer: The mugen train, will adapt the narrative arc of the “Red light district” which goes from the 8th to the 11th volume of the manga

Sony’s anime distribution company has also released a new promotional video and unreleased key visuals of Demon Slayer 2, announcing that the new episodes will be broadcast by 30 different Japanese TV stations, unlike the 21 networks that usually broadcast anime, going to thus covering almost the entire national territory.

The release date of the second season of Demon Slayer

At the moment the second season of Demon Slayer does not yet have an official release date, what we know is that it will probably arrive during the month of October, and in any case by the end of this year, as confirmed by Aniplex.

But the preparation in view of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc does not stop there and while the film The Mugen train Now available on Amazon Prime Video, the worldwide blockbuster anime feature will return to around 400 Japanese cinemas from 22 to 29 July. This is a special “final screening” where spectators will also receive a free illustration of Kyojuro Rengoku, one of the 9 Pillars of Demon Slayer.

Demon Slayer 2 will also be starring Tengenh Uzui, the pillar of sound that will bring with him, in this dangerous mission, the quartet formed by Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke and Zenitsu together with whom he will face Daki, the sixth crescent moon.

Haruo Sotozaki will return to directing at the studios of ufotable with Akira Matsushima who will again take care of the character design of the characters. Confirmations also regarding the vocal cast of the first season that will see Katsuyuki Konishi give voice to Tengen Uzui.
