After his recent suit with Sony, hacker George Hotz is now working at Facebook and is trying to stay away from the press. While in the hacking scene George Hotz was all over the place with PS3 jailbreaks, unlocks, and iOS jailbreaks including his most famous creations limera1n and blackra1n both of which feel to be the best jailbreaks of all time. Limera1n is still with us in code because without the George Hotz limera1n exploit there would be a whole lot fewer jailbreaks around with about one jailbreak being left behind.
George just can’t stay still and therefore the cameras always seem to snag him at different locations. This week George is at iOSDevCamp in San Jose, California. If this is the case George could be gearing up for some iOS development for his social networking site employer. Facebook has yet to gain an official iPad app and when we learned Geohot was working for Facebook the idea of him developing an iPad application for them immediately sprouted in our minds. Facebook’s iPhone app also needs some work and who better to do it than Geohot himself.
