Blue Orange, a well-known French publishing house, announced the arrival of Kingdomino Origins, a new board game from Bruno Cathala which incorporates the mechanics of his Kingdomino.
Let’s take a closer look at this title, which takes us back to the dawn of civilization.
Kingdomino Origins coming from Blue Orange
The style of the title remains similar to that of the “predecessor”, but let’s go back in time with the setting: we are in prehistory. Each player adds tiles to his territory, and new game mechanics have been introduced to get points; the main one concerns the fire which, like the crowns in the original game, guarantee the necessary points to win.
There are three game modes, of increasing difficulty, with also the novelty of a small management of resources that give points for the majority at the end of the game.
Kingdomino Origins allows you to play for 2 to 4 players, in matches lasting around 25 minutes. It is a very suitable title also for beginners or the youngest, being indicated from 8 years old.
Kingdomino Origins day one will be on October 29th, but the game will already be present at the publisher’s stand during the next Essen Spiel fair.
