Saint Row: confirmed the DLC for the restart of the franchise

During Gamescom Opening Night the reboot of Saint Row by Deep Silver Volition, developer who has already planned the release of three DLCs after the game’s launch.

The confirmation comes from the Epic Store, where there is an “Expansion Pass” within the pre-purchasable Gold and Platinum versions. This pass is described as an additional gameplay experience, with new missions contained in three different DLCs.

The return of Saint Row seems not to have convinced all fans of the series, who first clamored for a new chapter in the saga and then found themselves not too satisfied with the result seen in the announcement trailer.

Although the trailer shows a different style and tone from the previous episodes, it seems that the setting and the protagonists are perfectly suited to this reboot and only from future gameplay we can begin to understand how the new game will be structured.

If from the point of view of the game there are no particular details on the plot and development of the game, thanks to the Epic store there has been confirmation of the development of at least three expansions for the new game, which will be released after the launch of Saint Row. The game is available for pre-purchase, at the moment, in 2 different editions:

  • Base Game – € 59.99
  • Gold version: base game + expansion pass – € 89.99

At the moment, waiting for new information on the game and some more videos, theEpic Games Store makes Saint Row Third: Remastered available for free for one more day. After 10 years, the third installment has been updated to provide improved graphics and even more fast-paced gameplay.

Saint Row will be released on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC on February 25, 2022. In the meantime we will be able to resume the role of the leader of the Third Street Saints and defeat the rival Steelport gangs in Saint Row Third: Remastered, available HERE for free until 2 September.
