Salvage Union, the post-apocalyptic RPG with mechs is on Kickstarter

It is taking place these days, on the crowdfunding portal Kickstarter, the campaign for the realization of the Salvage Union RPG, set in a post-apocalyptic world in which we will have to survive driving and flanked by giant mechs at our command.

Let’s find out more about this title, which caught our attention thanks to the beautiful artwork of Hamish Frater and the particular theme.

Salvage Union, the post-apocalyptic RPG with mechs is on Kickstarter

Salvage Union is set in a world quite similar to an Earth that has undergone great upheaval due to wars, and finds itself in a post-apocalyptic condition hundreds of years after these conflicts. In this narrative universe, humanity has developed revolutionary and devastating technologies, such as laser weapons, controlled nuclear fusion and of course powerful mechs.

But all of this is history. In the world that we will bring to life in this role-playing game, we will be pilots based on a giant mech-ship called the Union Crawler; every day we will go out to plunder the surroundings piloting mechs mostly botched and put together at best with the remains of old machinery.

Our main enemies are the inhabitants of the Arcos, settlements born from what is left of the great corporations that once ruled the planet, and which still control the most advanced technologies and resources. For this fight, of course, our mechs will play a pivotal role.

The game system is Quest RPG, created by The Adventure Guild. It only needs a d20, which determines the quality of the result of the players’ actions, while leaving the PCs and the Master the maximum creative freedom of the narrative.

The minimum contribution required to participate in the Salvage Union Kickstarter campaign is 18 euros for the digital version and 33 for the basic manual; but there are also other levels of pledge, more expensive and complete. The game is expected to arrive in the hands (or in the email boxes) of the lenders in December 2022.
