Second Nature receives a $12.5 billion investment from Cardumen Capital

The AI-powered sales training solution, Second Naturewill receive the investment of Capital Shoal, the most active Spanish venture capital fund in Israel.

It is a $12.5 million Series A investment round in which Cardumen Capital participates together with Signals Venture Capital, Stage One Ventures and Zoom Apps Fund. With the closing of this round, the total capital raised by Second Nature amounts to 15.5 million dollars.

Second Nature is the first company to offer a software platform for immersive sales simulations in natural language with a conversation partner powered by Artificial Intelligence. The solution has already been commercially deployed by industry leaders such as Zoom, Twilio, Check Point, SAP, and CyberArk, among other companies.

“This demonstration of confidence from our new and existing investors will help us transform enterprise sales productivity at scale”says Ariel Hitron, co-founder and CEO of Second Nature. “In the growing landscape of sales technology, Second Nature has established itself as a leader in AI-driven simulation and role-playing for customer-facing roles. By helping companies transition their sales coaching to a structured, data-driven system, we’re empowering executives to drive real change in their organizations.”Hitron concludes.

Increase sales knowledge

Second Nature’s solution solves a key challenge facing large-scale organizations today: how to effectively increase salespeople’s knowledge to boost their skills and customer trust, thereby increasing company revenue. The solution enables sales professionals to get up to speed on new products and services faster, practice selling with an interactive coach, expand sales reach and close deals faster.

Powered by Artificial Intelligence and advanced natural language recognition, Second Nature provides a virtual practice partner that uses conversational Artificial Intelligence to hold voice conversations with sellers, qualify them and help them improve.

The rapidly growing conversational intelligence market has so far focused on customer interactions. Second Nature creates a non-judgmental training and practice space that is ideal for remote or hybrid teams, and also provides unique visibility into team skills and knowledge for sales managers. Managers and executives can get indicators of who is going to be a better performer in handling deals, instead of waiting to see the results.

The company was recently named a Gartner Cool Vendor in Conversation Intelligence. Analyst Dan Gottlieb points to the value of the company’s unique intellectual property: “Increasingly, sales organizations must respond to change with speed and agility. By relying on Second Nature to conduct role-playing exercises, sales leaders can accelerate the deployment of critical go-to-market changes across a hybrid workforce.”.
