During Tokyo Game Show livestream held last Friday, Square Enix announced the release date of Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin.
This new JRPG action was developed by NINJA team by KOEI TECMO GAMES (NINJA GAIDEN and Nioh series) in collaboration with Tetsuya Nomura (FINAL FANTASY VII, KINGDOM HEARTS), and represents a great new horizon for the FINAL FANTASY series dedicated to both longtime fans and new players.
When does Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin come out?
Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin will be released on March 18, 2022 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and Windows PC (via Epic Games Store).
The game mixes strategic action gameplay with the world and story of the FINAL FANTASY series, thus creating a unique JRPG action.
Follow Jack and his allies as they open the doors of the Temple of Chaos and enter a dark fantasy world with thrilling battles to find out if they really are the Warriors of Light foretold by prophecy.

How to play the trial version
Square Enix also announced the release of the Trial Version 2 on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, an expansion of the first trial version of the game released in June. It is already possible to play the trial version and explore from now (at this address until 11 October 2021 at 16:59 CEST) a new level of the game, the Distorted Reserve, together with a new ally, try out new fighting styles with the addition of various classes and face a variety of new enemies. This is also the first opportunity to try out the multiplayer mode.
Square Enix invites all who will download and play Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin Trial Version 2 to answer a questionnaire to provide feedback to the development team regarding their gaming experience, so as to once again help improve the final product . The various editions of Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin
Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin will be available as a physical and digital Standard Edition on PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One, with a digital-only Standard Edition available on PC via the Epic Games Store.
A Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available on all platforms. This edition includes a digital artbook, a mini digital soundtrack and a Season Pass DLC, which will include additional missions; “Trials of the Dragon King,“ Wanderer of the Rift ”and“ DIFFERENT FUTURE ”.
Those who purchase the physical or digital Standard Edition PS5 or PS4 version can purchase a Digital Deluxe Edition upgrade at launch, which will provide the aforementioned bonuses.
