An opportunity for all fans to return to the much-loved setting of the series, this time as the heroes of the story!
The role-playing game Avatar Legends – The Roleplaying Game has already been funded
Avatar Legends is a fantasy RPG set in the animated series universe Avatar: The Legend of Aang And The legend of Korra where players take on the role of young heroes from across the Four Nations, who have come together to make the world a better place.
Avatar – The Legend of Aang aired over three seasons on Nickelodeon, from February 2005 to July 2008. The series has been nominated for many awards, winning Annie Awards, Genesis Awards, a Primetime Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award. Avatar – The Legend of Aang follows the adventures of protagonist Aang and his friends, who must save the world by defeating the Fire Lord Ozai, thus ending the terrible war with the Fire Nation.
The game uses a system Powered by the Apocalypse. So like all PBTA games, Avatar Legends – The Roleplaying Game is characterized by the use of Moves that are activated only when the players make their PC do something that counts as activation of the move itself; at this point they roll 2d6 to find out what happens.
By participating in the Kickstarter crowdfunding it will be possible to obtain the Basic Manual (with normal or special cover), i Dice officers, the Map of the Four Nations, the Combat Action Deck (a deck of cards that can be used for combat), Dice Holder theme, and two manuals by Adventures. In short, a nice rich Kickstarter!
The manual is in English only, but Magpie Games will ship all over Europe so it is still possible to win this new volume. Will you participate in the Kickstarter? Let us know yours!
