You got it right. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, the sequel to one of the most beloved action games in the Warhammer 40K franchise, was unexpectedly announced during The Game Awards 2021 with a trailer!
The official sequel to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, one of the best video games in the franchise, released way back in 2011, is currently in the works at Saber Interactive, the study that then took the baton of the previous developer, Relic Entertainment, while Focus Home Interactive will be the publisher of the title.

During The Game Awards 2021 a spectacular CG trailer was also shown showing a team of Space Marines (will we have multiplayer?) Facing off against hordes of Tyranids in a city now in ruins; all while soldiers of the Cadian guard observe the scene from the sidelines.

As revealed during the show, the game will be released “soon” on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S and the Captain Titus will again be the protagonist of this new adventure, played by Clive Standen (Vikings, Taken).
