If you see that your Wi-Fi loses signal, that it is not working as well as you would like, it is most likely due to one of the causes that we are going to see. There are different options that we are going to be able to take into account to solve it. Usually, just by carrying out a few simple steps we can achieve greater stability in the wireless network.
The first reason why Wi-Fi loses signal is due to distance. This technology is limited in this sense and as soon as we move away from the router or access point we begin to lose coverage. It is not the same to be connected a meter from the router than to do it from another room that is 20 meters away.

The 2.4 GHz band, especially, could be severely limited. These interferences will affect the speed and stability of the Internet.
The solution is simple: move the router away from any device that can create interference. This includes appliances, but also any device that works over Wi-Fi. All this can affect the quality of the signal and cause continuous dropouts.

For example, the first one is ideal when we connect far from the router, although it does not offer as much speed. On the other hand, the second is faster, but more sensitive to distance and possible obstacles.
It is essential to choose at all times which band are we going to use to optimize the connection. The Wi-Fi may lose a signal because we are using the one that is not convenient for us and that hinders its proper functioning.
