On December 28, Xiaomi officially lifted the veil on three smartphones, the Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro and 12X. The latter will remain exclusive to China, but we should see the classic version as well as the Pro version arrive in France within a few weeks. According to the leaker Mukul Sharma, the wait would still be quite long, since smartphones would not arrive until February or March 2022.

Smartphones would therefore be lagging behind last year’s Xiaomi Mi 11. The Xiaomi Mi 11 was also unveiled in China on December 28, 2020, but arrived in France from February 8, 2021. It will therefore probably take a few more weeks before you can get your hands on the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro.

At what prices will the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro be announced in France?

This year, Xiaomi has decided to revise the prices of its Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro downwards compared to the Xiaomi Mi 11 of the previous year. Indeed, while the Xiaomi Mi 11 had been marketed in China from 3,999 yuan (555 euros), the Xiaomi 12 is offered for only 3699 yuan (513 euros). In France, as the Xiaomi Mi 11 had been launched at 749 euros, the new model could therefore arrive around 699 euros.

As for the Xiaomi 12 Pro, it is released from 4699 in China. His predecessor had never arrived in France, but the new version could enter our market at around 899 euros, if Xiaomi decides to keep the same pricing strategy as the previous year.

While waiting for their arrival here, the Xiaomi 12 Pro has also already been tested, and the first feedback has highlighted a big problem with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which will however equip most high-end smartphones with 2022 such as the OnePlus 10 Pro or the OPPO Find X5 Pro.
