AWS European Defense Accelerator for Startups, new defense and security accelerator

To support defense and homeland security customers, Amazon Web Services (AWS) has launched the AWS European Defense Accelerator. The accelerator is open to startups from all over the world interested in working with defense and national security organizations from all over Europe.

The objective of this accelerator is to support new companies with AWS cloud technologies to provide energy resiliency, secure information exchange, sensing and decision making, quantum and cyber resiliency solutions to meet customer mission needs.

The AWS European Defense Accelerator is a four-week technical, business and training program which is delivered in partnership with Plexal, a UK Government-backed innovation technology company. Participating startups are eligible to receive specialized training and computing credits from AWS, mentorship from defense and national security experts, business development, go-to-market advice, and investment guidance. The program also offers opportunities for the leaders of these entities to advise start-ups on topics ranging from defining their business models to presenting the business value of their solutions.

Which companies can apply

AWS European Defense Accelerator is open globally to startups interested in support businesses in the defense sector throughout Europe. Eligible startups must seek to address and deliver mission-critical solutions for the land, air, sea, space, or cyber domains. The 15 selected startups must have clients and income, as well as be able to demonstrate that you can use the cloud services of Amazon Web Services to solve defense challenges in the following areas: energy resilience, secure information exchange, detection and decision making, quantum computing, and cyber resilience.

Applications are evaluated based on several factors, including the innovative and unique nature of the project, the ability of the team to deliver a solution, creative uses of AWS services to develop the solution, and the overall value of the solution to customers. defense.
