Apple TV+ recruits Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale) for its new series. Shining Girls offers a first trailer.
Does the Apple TV + platform hold its new success? She recruits Elisabeth Moss for The Shining Girls, adaptation of the eponymous novels by Lauren Beukes. The actress, rewarded for her performance in The Handmaid’s Tales a journalist from Chicago will camp here, who goes in search of a man who tried to kill her. A serial killer like no other, who travels through time to kill brilliant women. This antagonist will be camped by Jamie Bell, famous for having played in Billy Elliot and Rocketman. Wagner Moura, Pablo Escobar in Narcos, should meanwhile embody a certain Dan. Philippa Soo (Hamilton) completes the list.

The apple offers a legend of the 7th art to produce its new series. Leonardo DiCaprio, who we recently saw in Don’t Look Up: Cosmic Denial at Netflix, this time working behind the scenes alongside Marc Bienstock and Rebecca Hobbs, the two executive producers of this new series.
The adaptation of the novel and the writing of the screenplay were entrusted to Silka Luisa (Strange Angel). Behind the camera, three directors will succeed: Michelle MacLaren, Daina Reid and also, but above all, Elisabeth Moss.
