Intel presents the 13th generation Intel Core processors and its biggest commitment to AI

The most important ingredient for the future of humanity is silicon. With these words Pat Gelsinger, CEO of Intel, opened the conference Intel Innovation 2022 in San José (USA) where the technology giant has presented its latest developments. An essential event for professionals and lovers of the sector, where the brand wanted to highlight how technology driven by silicon-based data processors will be vital for technological development.

Under this premise, Intel has presented the family of 13th generation Intel Core processors, led by the Intel Core i9-13900K, already considered the fastest desktop processor in the world. A new generation that also presents six new unlocked CPUs with up to 24 cores and 32 threads, and clock speeds of up to 5.8 GHz with which to offer an outstanding gaming, streaming and recording experience.

With the launch of the Intel Core ‘K’ processors, the 13th generation of Intel Core is made up of 22 processors and more than 125 designs of associated systems. Providing an experience at the highest level both in application performance and platform compatibility.

These latest generation processors also have motherboards with Intel 600 series chipset or the new Intel® 700 series, support for DDR4 memory, and the option to memorize your settings based on your own features and budget preferences.

13th Gen Intel Core desktop processors enable better system performance, even under high workloads. That includes up to 15% better single-threaded performance and up to 41% better multi-threaded performance.

With this generation, Intel’s performance hybrid architecture brings together the faster performance core (P-core) manufactured together with up to twice as many efficient cores (E-core). Delivering enhanced single-threaded and multi-threaded performance that enables outstanding gaming, streaming, and recording experiences. With up to 5.8 GHz throughput and 15% more single-threaded throughput, you can reach high frame rates and enjoy unlimited gaming experiences.

This series of desktop processors adds more E-cores and up to 41% better multi-threading performance to tackle multiple compute-intensive workloads to keep you in the creative flow. While anyone can achieve higher average overclocking speeds on P cores, E cores and DDR5 memory.

Intel has also updated Intel® Speed Optimizer to be compatible with 13th generation processors and users can overclock with minimal effort.

Intel Geti and AI

The Intel Innovation conference also featured the new Intel Geti platform, which enables enterprises to more easily develop and deploy the machine vision AI. This newly released Intel Geti computer vision AI platform enables members of an enterprise the ability to develop their own AI models. Being able to assume 10 to 12 images for the software to remember them, and later learn their use with up to 90 percent accuracy.

The platform is currently being tested by selected customers and partners, and will be commercially available in the fourth quarter of 2022
