Rosario Dawson will face Mary Elizabeth Winstead in the upcoming Star Wars series. She will be in the cast of Ahsoka on Disney+.
After a rather remarkable career in animation, Ahsoka Tano begins her transition to reality. The character, central to the plot of The Clone Wars, will return to our screens. She will this time be embodied by Rosario Dawson, who had already shown the tip of her nose in season 2 of The Mandalorian. She now offers herself a first solo adventure on Disney +. Ahsoka, scheduled for 2022 at the earliest on the platform, will plunge us 5 years after the events of episode 6.
It will be written by Dave Filoni, rather familiar with the Star Wars animated series since he had produced and written Star Wars: Rebels and The Clone Wars. Jon Favreau, to whom we owe The Mandalorian and The Boba Fett Book, will also be invested in the project.
A new recruit
Hayden Christensen should resume his role as Darth Vader, probably during flashbacks since the character died at the time of the series. Rosario Dawson should also cross paths with several characters well known to aficionados of the license. Natasha Liu Bordizzo should camp Sabine Wren, character seen in the animated series Star Wars: Rebels. Ivanna Sakhno will also be there, in a role kept secret for the moment.
Another actress has just joined the adventure, it is Mary Elizabeth Winstead, known for her role in the action film kate, but also for his performance in the third season of Fargo. She faced Ewan McGregor, who will also be in the cast of a Star Wars series, centered on the character of Obi-Wan Kenobi whom he played in the trilogy of the 2000s.
