The TV series was one before and one after for the HBO platform, becoming one of the most important fictions in the history of television. A true phenomenon to which not only the millions of people who had read the books signed up -by the way, still unfinished by George RR- but also many curious people who gave an opportunity to the troubles between families of the particular and fanciful Westeros ( West).
Such was its success that the content service did not think twice and shortly after the conclusion of the main story, it announced that we would also enjoy a prequel in serial format called House of the Dragonbased on the book of fire and blood and in which we could see what that famous reign of the Targaryens was like for which Daenerys fought so hard to rebuild.

There is still no date or much information about it, but surely that matters less now that we know that there is also another possible project on the table: one focused on nothing less than Aegon the Conquerorfounder of the Targaryen dynasty and the first king of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros.
A project in progress

According to this post, HBO and Warner Bros. already has the project on the table, although it is still in a very early state, so much so that nothing is set in stone and there are not even writers for the script. One of the ideas being handled is to give this story a different format, betting on a film instead of a series -although it would always keep a connection with the house of the dragon– in which we would see how Aegon I Targaryens He arrives for the first time in Westeros with his sisters and they use their dragons to seize power.
We would therefore enjoy many of the moments that are always discussed in books (including the creation of the Iron Throne), we would witness the great conquest of the territory and the resistance of Dorne, and, of course, we would finally see what Balerion is like, nicknamed the Black Terror, one of the greatest dragons in Targaryen history and a key asset during the War of Conquest.
The fact that all this is already in talks does not necessarily mean that it will come to fruition, but, without a doubt, knowing so much data gives us hope that we could end up seeing this project come true. Cross our fingers.
