A Quiet Place: a videogame with an unpublished story is coming

If you’re a fan of John Krasinski’s horror saga, chances are you’ll be happy to find out that a video game from A Quiet Place has been announced.

And while the suspense and intensity of the movies have kept us hooked most of the time, it looks like we’ll be back to controller-in-hand soon, in a single-player experience all about storytelling.

A narrative video game set in the universe of A Quiet Place is coming

The game in question will boast an original story, with gameplay that “It will capture the gripping suspense, emotion and drama the saga is famous for.”

The development of the A Quiet Place videogame was entrusted to Illogika, a Montreal-based studio. The developers included the teams that worked on Ubisoft’s IPs of Rainbow Six And Far Cry, as well as veterans of Eidos Montreal And Behavior Interactive. Saber Interactive, the studio behind World War Z, will publish the game instead.

“The incredible success of the A Quiet Place films makes it clear that audiences are hungry for more adventures set in this universe and Illogika is creating their own experience, a truly immersive one that will live up to the name of this beloved property.”, said Todd Hollenshead, chief editor of Saber Interactive.

“We are proud to say that A Quiet Place is the first game we will release from an outside studio of the growing Saber publishing label.”

While no platforms have yet been announced for which the title will be made available, the game is expected to launch in the course of 2022.
