Ajax Systems introduces new devices for home security

The well-known manufacturer Ajax Systems has made a presentation with all the new products that they are going to launch between now and the end of the year, and also the products that they are going to launch in the first months of next year 2023. We must remember that this manufacturer is focused specifically on home alarm solutions with no fees, but now it is expanding its range of devices to make our home smart, so we have some really interesting new devices for automation in our home. Do you want to know all the new devices that they have presented?

Ajax app improvements

Ajax Systems has launched some really interesting new devices for the home, but first of all they have done a complete redesign of the graphical user interface of the applications for Android and iOS. Now we are going to have a much easier structure to understand, we can go from one menu to another with movements depending on the interaction context. This allows users to turn on the devices they want very quickly, without having to look at the smartphone.

In the new control tab, all devices are arranged by pages, so users only have to swipe to the side to access them. These improvements to the Ajax app are expected to be available later this year, coinciding with the release of the vast majority of new devices that have been introduced. Other novelties of the application are the following:

  • Access codes for unregistered users: Until now, if we wanted a user to access the alarm panel to disarm or arm it, it was necessary to create a user for it. Now we can create access codes for unregistered users, to let in guests, cleaning companies etc.
  • Take photos by alarm from any device: A few months ago Ajax launched some photo detectors that allow us to take photos on demand, now we can take photos by alarm from any device, such as an opening detector, a panic button or another movement detector. That is, we can make automations to take photos based on what we detect.
  • Greater temperature control of devices: Most Ajax detectors incorporate a temperature sensor, but we could only see this information. Now we can see the temperature in the app and activate a certain temperature scenario, as if it were a motion detection, door opening, etc.

As you can see, we find quite a few new features in the app that will be launched in the coming months. In RedesZone we use Ajax Systems as an alarm in our home, so we will tell you all the news that they will incorporate.

New devices for the digital home

Ajax Systems has launched several devices to make our home smarter, then you can see all the news:

  • LightSwitch: This device allows us to control the lighting in our home, both locally and remotely. This device comes with a large touch panel to turn on and off the lights in our home, in fact, it is enough to bring your hand closer without touching the panel.

  • water stop: This device allows us to physically close a water pipe, it is really a remote controlled water shut-off valve. In conjunction with the flood detector that we have already shown you, we could automate the closing of the leaking water pipe using this same device.

  • Fire Protect 2: Ajax has launched a whole line of smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and also temperature sensors. Depending on our needs, we can buy the model with non-replaceable batteries, or the model with replaceable batteries. Likewise, we can also buy other models that only detect smoke or carbon monoxide, although the most normal thing would be to buy the most complete.

As you can see, we have really interesting new devices that complement the existing ones. The most interesting thing is that Ajax is also focusing on home automation, always related to security. We hope that very soon we can offer you a complete analysis of these new devices from the manufacturer.
