Altia closed 2022 with the highest profits in its history: 10.2 million

Altia has presented his 2022 resultsperiod in which he had some revenue of 167.2 million euros, which represents an improvement of 32.8% compared to 2021. In Altia they have calculated this figure by already incorporating the income of the two companies that became part of the group throughout the year, Wairbut and Bilbomática .

In addition, the benefits achieved throughout the exercise marks a new record for Altia: 10.2 million euros, 16.6% more than those achieved in 2021. The accounting Ebitda of the group in 2022, without normalisations, was 16.2 million euros, 18.4% more than in the previous year.

2022, for Altia, has been marked by the incorporation and integration into the group of Wairbut and Bilbomática. Also due to an important commitment to recruiting and retaining talent, which has increased its workforce to reach 3,200 professionals. In 2023 they have begun to finish adjusting the incorporation of the acquired companies. Once the operation is completed, from Altia they state that they have good prospects, and they aim to continue growing in the future.

Constantino Fernández, President of Altiahas recalled that «he The year 2022 has been successful for Altia in a difficult environment due to the shortage of technological talent, the energy crisis, the impact of inflation, and logistical difficulties. In this context we have achieved a combined growth between organic and the result of the acquisitions made. The Company has grown and added a good number of people to the project, we have incorporated new concerns and needs, new approaches and capacities, and also environments different from those we already had in which we intend to have a positive impact with our activity».

On the other hand, Fernández recalls that Altia practices a sustainable growth model, and that the purchase of Wairbut and Bilbomática are an advance in that model: «With the sum of these two companies, we have succeeded not only from a purely financial point of view, but they also share our values ​​and the firm commitment to our environment and talent. At a time of professional shortage, we have added to existing talent a powerful tool to extend our commitment to an expanding environment and continue to offer real and tangible value to clients and society.«.

Regarding its growth at an international level, it has been reinforced by the position that Bilbomática occupies in European agencies, which has made Altia work de facto with almost all of them, and has the goal of continuing to advance in this regard. In fact, according to Fernández, “International business is going to be an essential player in the coming years and it is going to force us to make new and very demanding efforts in the management of interest groups that are increasingly diverse and distant, at least geographically”.
