It is clear that Apple has reinforced its commitment to differentiate its iPhone Pro and Pro Max from the standard models, and everything seems to indicate that this strategy will go further with the launch of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Both terminals will hit the market in September of this year, and we know that they will bring exclusive features to differentiate themselves from the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
One of those exclusive features will be the new Apple A17 SoCa high-performance chip that will only be used in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and that will undoubtedly make the biggest difference between them and the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, which will reuse the Apple A16 SoC present in the current generation (exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max). This approach still seems very curious to me, because with it Apple leaves the standard versions of its flagship smartphone a generation behind the Pro and Pro Max models.
We had also seen some rumors that pointed to exclusive improvements in the cameras of the iPhone 15 Pro and the Pro Max model, but this is still up in the air and is something that does not yet have much credibility. What is gaining strength is an interesting leak which claims that Apple is going to use curved OLED panels in both terminals, a movement that is obviously not new and, in fact, makes me think of the Galaxy S6 Edge, a terminal that arrived in 2015 and already used a curved AMOLED panel.

However, despite the fact that these types of screens are not something new in the smartphone sector, it is clear that their integration into the new Apple iPhones would mean an important step forward in the race to differentiate the Pro and Pro Max models, and I think it would mean a major cosmetic improvement that could attract the attention of a greater number of consumers.
I confirm that when we talk about curved screen we mean a slight curl at the edges, that is, on the sides of the screen, which means that the rest of the screen will maintain its flat finish. The rumor source also notes that there will be a reduction in the screen borders and that there will be no changes to the Dynamic Island, which means that neither the front camera nor the Face ID interface will be integrated into the screen yet.
It is said that the standard models could also come with a curved OLED screen, but It is something that makes little sense because this would bring it too close to the iPhone 15 Pro, especially considering that the iPhone 15 will abandon the notch and use the Dynamic Island. It is also important to take into account that the use of such a panel will make the terminal more expensive.
