After several months of waiting, God of War Ragnarok is finally coming out on November 9, 2022. The game is available in several editions, including Collector and Jötnar versions which come with several goodies that will delight fans of the franchise. We tell you where to buy them at the best price.
Announced several months before the release of the PS5, God of War Ragnarok is one of the most anticipated games on Sony’s platforms. The title will be released on November 9, 2022. It is the Santa Monica studio which is once again in charge of the continuation of the adventures of Kratos and Atreus.
God of War Ragnarok comes in four different editions, starting with the versions Standard and Deluxe Digital. Sony also offers two limited edition special editions which are much more expensive. Unsurprisingly, the editions collector and Jotnar are already very rare to find in spite of their price.
Gof of War Ragnarok cheap: where to buy the Standard, Deluxe, Collector and Jötnar editions?
The two base editions of God of War Ragnarok are the cheapest, but also the easiest to buy. The Standard Edition costs €79.99 on PS5 and €10 less on PS4, i.e. €69.99. The PS5 version is at the best price at E.Leclerc at €69.90. The PS4 edition is also available cheap at €53.69 from the same merchant.
The digital Deluxe version costs €89.99 and is available exclusively on PlayStation Store. All versions will be available from November 9, 2022.

For enthusiasts, Sony therefore also offers the editions collector and Jotnar. These are logically the two most expensive versions. They are offered respectively at 215 € and 270 € subject to availability. At the time of writing, the two special editions are out of stock at all Sony partner stores.

God of War Ragnarok: what’s new?
Ragnarok is a direct sequel to the previous adventures of Kratos and his son. The story therefore takes place a few years after the events of the 2018 game. Together, the two protagonists do everything to prevent Ragnarokthe legendary Norse version of the apocalypse.
In the new God of War, Kratos and Atreus face new enemies, including freya and Thor. The first seeks revenge for the death of her son, Baldur. The story takes place this time in the nine Nordic kingdoms, including Vanaheim, Svartalfheim and Asgard. As a reminder, the 2018 Go of War took place in six of the nine realms.
As for the gameplay, Sony Santa Monica retains the mechanics we already know, while improving them. We also know that the enemies of Ragnarok will be more varied and more difficult to face. Kratos and Atreus will notably grapple with new creatures from Norse mythology, including the Stalker and Dreki creatures.
