Oppo has just released the ColorOS 13 roadmap. In the first half of 2023, many of the brand’s smartphones will receive the latest version of the overlay based on Android 13. Here is the complete list of eligible devices.
In December 2022, Oppo announced its desire to update its next high-end smartphones for 4 years. In other words, its latest devices will be able to receive four updates to its ColorOS overlay, while security patches will be provided for 5 years.
And if this new policy will only concern the most recent devices, the brand does not intend to abandon these older models, on the contrary. Indeed, Oppo has just published this Friday, January 6, 2023 the roadmap for the deployment of Color OS 13.
Thus, many of the manufacturer’s smartphones will receive the latest version of the overlay based on Android 13 during the first half of 2023. We find in particular in the list the Oppo Reno 8, Reno 6 and Reno 5, to name a few. Oppo nevertheless specifies that this is an approximate timetable and subject to change depending on the device, the country and the operators.
List of smartphones that will receive ColorOS 13 in 2023
In addition, the manufacturer plans to roll out the ColorOS 13 beta to a handful of additional smartphones. He adds that this deployment will be limited to certain markets.
