Within the Battle Royale games, there are not only the classics Fortnite and pubgbut also, we can also find titles like Warzone and Apex Legends. Apex Legends is a different game from the rest of Battle Royale, since, depending on which character we use, we will have special abilities, abilities that, on certain occasions, can mean victory or defeat. With each new season, EA adjusts the weapons operation to try to balance them, however, does not always succeed.
The season we are currently in, number 17 called Arsenal, introduces an important change in the ranked system that not everyone is liking since the final position in the game is rewarded over the number of casualties we get . Depending on our playing style, the combination of weapons that we can choose is totally different. - R99 and Nemesis. The R99 is a safe bet if we like close range combat as it has a very high rate of fire. Together with the Nemesis, a burst weapon with energy ammunition we cover both short and medium range.

- R400 (R99 + R301). The combination of the R99 and R301 (carbine) was baptized by many users as R400. R99 is ideal for short-distance combat while the carbine covers the needs of medium and long distance since, in addition, it includes a shot selector that allows us to fire shot by shot as if it were a medium-distance rifle similar to the Scout or the 3030.
- Car and Flatline. If we want to do the most damage possible with each bullet we hit the target, the best possible combination is to use two heavy ammunition weapons such as the Car and the Flatline. In addition, the Car rifle also works with light ammunition so we can use this ammunition if the heavy one is scarce. Like the carbine, the Flatline also includes a shot selector covering medium and long distance.
- R99 / Car + Rifle Charges. If we want to send melee combat and we like to poke from a distance, the Charge Rifle is ideal, a weapon that we can move while shooting to hit the target if it is moving. This weapon is one of the most annoying in the game for the enemies that suffer from it because it offers high damage and being able to modify the trajectory while shooting. The negative point is that we only have 3 shots per magazine (each shot consumes 2 bullets)
- EVA + R99. The EVA shotgun is still very broken especially when used with the double shot attachment and the bolt, as it has a very high rate of fire. In combination with the R99 they are the ideal combo if we like fast melee combat.
- Peacepeeker + R99. One of the most beloved weapons by the Apex community is the Peacepeeker shotgun, a shotgun that, if we have an aim, can remove more than 100 points of damage with each shot and in combination with the R99, they are the perfect combination for close combat.
- R301 / Flatline + Charge Rifle. The Apex Legends season 17 ranked system has turned the game into a nest of rats that hide to get the best position in the game, since deaths barely count for the final calculation. If our style of play is this, the best combination is the Carbine or Flatline for medium distance and the Rifle of charges.
