It seems that the celebrations for the Cyberpunk 2077 is back on the PS Store (the next June 21st) are terminated early, with Sony that, in order to avoid being dragged back into the scandal created by the launch of the game CD Projekt RED, officially advised against playing the title on PS4.
Cyberpunk 2077 is back on the PS Store but …
The official statement of the Japanese company arrived on the pages of IGN USA, where Sony stated that the return of Cyberpunk 2077 in its virtual store is in no way linked to an improvement in performance or to the resolution of the numerous bugs present at the launch.
“Sony Interactive Entertainment can confirm that Cyberpunk 2077 will be reintroduced on the PlayStation Store on June 21, 2021” a spokesperson for the company said. “Users will continue to experience some performance issues on PlayStation 4, while CD Projekt RED will be working to fix the stability issues that plague all platforms. SIE recommends playing Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 4 Pro or PlayStation 5 for the best possible experience. “
Apparently, therefore, the return of Cyberpunk 2077 on the Sony store is not linked to the launch of a new patch by CD Projekt RED nor, much less, to the resolution of problems on the old PS4 (which many, by now, do not believe will be more resolved).
