After celebrating, in 2020, the 25th anniversary of the debut on the de Settlers of Catan, it’s time to make a toast to what is a real milestone among board games with the official beer of the title created by Klaus Teuber in 1995.
In fact, a partnership was born between the holders of the rights of the game and Champion Brewing Company, an American brewery based in Virginia, for the production of a new beer designed specifically for the board game.
Here comes the beer of I colononi di Catan
There Catan beer, produced in a limited edition, will only be available through the Champion’s Beverage Club in six unique flavors, each based on the different terrains present in the game.
The current series of Catan beers revealed includes Wheat Beer, Rye Beer, Amber Ale it’s a IPA, with two other types that will be revealed at a later time, namely the Imperial Coffee Stout and the Hazy Triple IPA.
The fearless adventurers who land on the island of Catan and the players who plan their moves, will still have to shell out a lot of “resources” to quench their thirst, since a case of 24 bottles of beer costs 50 dollars.
