Mega Man: the board game based on the videogame is coming

Blacklist Games has opened pre-orders for Mega Man Adventures, a cooperative board game for 1-4 players based on the iconic video game franchise created by Capcom. The game was designed by Michael Kelly and Peter Gousis (Salvation Road, Dark Dealings: Dwarven Delve).

The Mega Man board game is now available for pre-order on the Blacklist Games website

The players take on the role of Mega Man and his allies as they battle Dr. Wily and his Robot Masters.

The Mega Man board game it can be played in two modes: quick single game or campaign, in the latter case players face various challenges to get to the final fight with Dr. Wily.

Players plan their turns by playing Action cards in which one is used for themselves and the other two to activate the companions that flank them. Cards provide bonus abilities as you go through challenges filled with traps, obstacles, and enemies. The heroes must eventually each reach a dreaded Robot Master who makes use of a unique boss scheme that players must decipher in order to defeat him, before being able to enter the final challenge.

The game features enemies, levels and Robot Master from Mega Man 1, Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 3. Players can go through campaigns that recreate those titles or mix them up to create a custom campaign.

There delivery of the first copies of the game to those who will take advantage of the pre-orders just opened is estimated for second quarter of 2022.
