The firmware of this ASUS TUF-AX4200 router is version 388, we have at our disposal the latest news that ASUS has incorporated into the most complete firmware that we have in a home router. This firmware version incorporates the Wireguard VPN server, which will provide us with greater download and upload speeds, in addition, we have the new Fusion VPN that will allow us to connect to remote VPN servers, also including the Wireguard protocol. A very important feature of Fusion VPN is that it will allow us to choose which wired or WiFi clients go out to the Internet through the VPN that we have configured, this allows us only certain clients of the local network to go out to the Internet through the VPN, and the rest through the regular connection.
Of course, the firmware has other options and services such as AiProtection Pro with bidirectional IPs, guest WiFi network, parental control, adaptive QoS, Open NAT to open ports easily, and all the usual configurations for WiFi, LAN, WAN. , firewalls and more. It is the same Asuswrt 388 firmware as always but visually it changes to give it a gaming touch, as has happened with other ASUS routers in the TUF range.
