Getac has expanded its catalog of tablets with the ZX10, a reinforced model that stands out for offering a high quality finish and a balanced spec setup. Externally, this model has a sober finish, with very sharp angular lines, and bets on a tactile interface that we can use with gloves without any problem.
Getac’s ZX10 is IP66 certified, which means that it is resistant to dust and water, and it also has MIL-STD 810H certification Military-grade strength, a guarantee as it means it can withstand drops from a height of up to 1.8 meters, as well as shocks, vibrations, jolts and temperatures between minus 29 degrees C and 63 degrees C.
Thanks to its high resistance, the Getac ZX10 becomes an interesting and viable option in sectors as diverse as public safety (and other public services), energy, transportation and logistics, manufacturing, automotive and defense. At the hardware level, the ZX10 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, whose CPU is 8 cores, and it comes with an Adreno 512 GPU.
The Getac ZX10 screen is 10.1 inches, has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, has 4GB LPDDR4 memory and has a capacity of 64GB storage. We can configure it, optionally, with 6 GB of LPDDR4 memory and with 128 GB of storage capacity, specifications that give it greater performance, and that make it a more versatile and long-lasting solution.
Otherwise, this model comes with a camera 8 MP on the front, has a 16 MP camera on the back, it has USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C and USB 2.0 connectors, has a microSD slot, has built-in Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, and offers optional 4G LTE. This technology will allow us to always be connected to the Internet, without having to depend on a Wi-Fi connection.
The Getac ZX10 has a weight of 1.04 kilograms and measures 275 x 192 x 17.9 mm. Its battery is 4,870 mAh and it is compatible with fast recharge. It has a three-year warranty and comes with Android 11 as the operating system. Getac has confirmed to us that it will be available from March 2022 with a price of 1,229 euros, VAT not included.
