Mail and Spark are two of the best applications that exist within the Apple ecosystem. One of them is native, which was born in the time of Steve Jobs and which, until very recently, was completely outdated. On the other hand we have Spark, a free app that has received numerous awards from the App Store. Each of them has its advantages and disadvantages, but they also offer a large number of elements in common. Therefore, in this post, we are going to analyze how we can Automatically respond to spam in Spark and Mail
Automatically reply to emails in Mail
The process of being able to send an automatic response from the native Apple app consists of four steps which we will describe below.
- In Mail on iCloud.com, click the Settings button at the top of the Mailbox List, and then choose Settings.
- Click Auto Reply, select “Reply automatically when receiving messages,” and type the message you want to send.
- Set an optional period. The automatic response is activated from the first day of the period to the last.
- Click OK.
Once you’ve completed these steps, when someone messages you while you’re away, they receive a automatic response in a period of 24 hours. In this way, the recipient will know that you have received the message, but that you have not been able to reply.
You can too disable the process of sending automatic responses. To do this, you have to perform the following three steps that we are going to describe below. Of course, it is important to note that if you run out of iCloud storage, you will not receive new messages.
- In Mail on iCloud.com, click the Settings button at the top of the Mailbox List, and then choose Settings.
- Click Auto Reply and deselect “Reply automatically when receiving messages”.
- Click OK.
Spark Autoresponders
As we have said at the beginning of this post, Spark is one of the best free options so that there is a greater availability of these in the App Store. Next, we are going to see how we can make the automatic responses that come by default in the app, although we can also determine our own responses. He process is as follows:
- When you receive an email, a series of automatic responses appears in the bottom bar. Auto-responders include “thank you,” “Great idea,” or “great.”
- Click on one of the ideas mentioned, and automatically, the automatic response is generated. The process would be finished.
We can also write our own answers as we said above. To do this, we have to perform the following steps that we will describe below.
- From Spark, tap on More from the autoresponders bar. You can also go to Settings and then tap on automatic responses.
- Click on Add new from the bottom of the quick responses.
- Add a new answer and choose the text you are going to send and choose the icon.
- Press the “edit” option when the automatic responses appear to delete an answer that you do not use and add a new one.
It’s that easy to have automatic responses in Mail and Spark, two of the best mail management applications in the Apple ecosystem. Both are free, although Spark offers advanced paid features for corporate emails.
