Huawei Band 8, new generation of activity bracelet with more autonomy than ever

Huawei has announced the launch of Huawei Band 8the new generation of your smart bracelet, focused with greater emphasis than usual on health monitoring and boasting autonomy like never before.

As they explain, Huawei Band 8 is he wearable thinnest and lightest of the brand so far, with a body that is just 8.99 millimeters thick and weighs 14 grams. This includes its 1.47-inch curved glass AMOLED touchscreen, ultra-thin bezels, and 194 x 368 pixels, with a screen-to-body ratio of up to 65%.

Huawei Band 8 also boasts features, starting with Huawei TruSeen 5.0with which to monitor biometric data such as “heart rate, continuous monitoring of blood oxygen, sleep (with TruSleep), stress and menstrual cycle”, among others, all with greater precision than in previous versions of the device, although it can be improved by entering data manually with the HiFi-Encoder signal processing technology.

Another of the features related to monitoring and, more specifically, to physical activity is Huawei TruSport, “a training system that provides users with detailed data during exercise related to rhythm, heart rate or distance traveled; […] evaluates the runner’s training load, aerobic/anaerobic pressure, recovery time and running capacity index.

Huawei Band 8 also includes training assistant with evaluations and recommendations, with plans based on artificial intelligence, up to 100 training modes for different outdoor sports such as running, cycling, swimming and even jumping rope, although the new features of this version are others, such as soccer, basketball or tennis, with daily goal analysis and other features, all supported in real time through the Huawei Health app.

Huawei Band 8 introduces other features beyond the activity area, such as a productivity assistant that allows “check the weather, control music, set timers, stopwatches and much more”; as well as includes “support for music playback, remote shutter, reminders (text messages, apps), quick messaging responses, time, alarm clock, stopwatch, timer, flashlight, find my phone, voice assistant, etc.”

Finally, Huawei Band 8 stands out for its autonomy, up to 14 days depending on the use that is given, a power saving mode of up to 3 days and fast charging support of 45 minutes to complete the battery and two days with only five minutes.

Huawei Band 8 is available in three colors, black, pink and green (with more refined names and shades) and launches six new dial styles, which users can customize with more than 10,000 dial designs for their interior, accessible through Huawei Themes app. It goes on sale today with a price of €59.90 and a 50% discount to acquire a second unit.
