While rumors announced a release for July 2022, it will finally be necessary to wait until September for Huawei to deploy HarmonyOS 3.0. The first tests, meanwhile, will begin in May. It is possible that the Huawei Mate 50 will launch with an early version of the operating system.

A few months after the launch of the final version of HarmonyOS, users are now waiting the 3.0 update, which begins to point the tip of its nose in several leaks. At the beginning of the year, an informant already announced that it would be available from July 2022. It seems that the wait will finally be a little longer. Indeed, according to information obtained by a leaker posted on Weibo, Huawei now plans to deploy HamonyOS 3.0 in September.

In fact, the tests which were to start in March will start in May. For the time being, we do not know the reasons for this postponement. However, the leaker tells us that the development of the operating system is almost complete. In addition, it seems that the interface will undergo very few changes. Huawei has indeed preferred to focus on performance improvement of his OS.

Will the Huawei Mate 50 release an early version of HarmonyOS 3.0?

This information confirms that obtained in recent weeks. Last October it was already announced that HarmonyOS 3.0 would be faster than MIUI 13 of Xiaomi smartphones. Finally, the leaker mentions a better connection for multi-devices that will make the functionality more stable. Be that as it may, this postponement raises the question of the operating system from which the Huawei Mate 50.

The smartphone, whose release has been postponed to this year, should in theory be released in July. Therefore, it was reasonable to think that it would be one of the first to offer HarmonyOS 3.0 natively to its users. But the postponement redistributes the cards. Some informants claim that the smartphone will come out with an early version of the operating system, but it is still too early to be sure. Indeed, the official release date of the latter has not yet been announced.
