Infinidat Recognized as a Leader in Primary Storage for Large Enterprises

The business storage solutions company infinity has been recognized by the analysts of the consultancy GigaOm as leader in primary storage for large enterprises. The distinction, awarded in the latest edition of the GigaOm Radar report, considers Infinidat to be the most innovative provider of enterprise storage solutions among the eight they have analyzed.

Along with this recognition, the company has received an outstanding distinction in the Innovation and Platform Play categories. GigaOm also distinguishes Infinidat for its innovation and software-defined storage approach. It combines high capacity, scalability, flexible consumption models, advanced cyber resiliency, and high performance.

Specifically, the report states that “with InfiniBox SSA II, Infinidat is focused on massive capacity and scalability with racks that can scale up to 17PB of effective storage and record latency as low as 35 microseconds.”

Eric Herzog, Infinidat Marketing Managerhas highlighted this distinction that «the Significant expansion of our solutions portfolio over the past year, with the launch of our next-generation solid-state array InfiniBox SSA II, has allowed us to reinforce our leadership position by offering businesses a viable alternative to complex offerings from other manufacturers. Storage-as-a-Service, integrated AIOps, NVMe support and cyber resiliency, all available at significantly lower CAPEX and OPEX, are game changers in this market.”

The GigaOm analysts in charge of company analysis and the preparation of the GigaOm Radar report have specified that, at a general level, “Primary storage for large enterprises is in a transition phase characterized by the fact that it is no longer necessary to sacrifice flexibility, simplicity or cost control to achieve high performance, availability and cyber resiliency. New things like automation, AI-powered analytics, storage-as-a-service, cost optimization, and a broader strategic vision are taking hold.”
