Intel’s Full Raptor Lake Processor Lineup Revealed

microsoft has added the entire line of processors Raptor Lake to the Windows 11 compatibility list, and when we say the entire line, it also includes models that have not yet been announced. In fact, that is the news, that all the Raptor Lake generation processors that Intel intends to market so far have been known, because its compatibility with the latest Microsoft operating system is something that must always be taken for granted when we talk about x86 .

The generation Intel’s Raptor Lake, at least for now, will be made up of a total of 22 processors adding the K models, the non-K, the F and other lines such as low consumption. However, it is important to note that not all models are based on the latest generation architecture, Raptor Cove, as at least some non-K processors will employ Golden Cove, the Alder Lake architecture.

We remind you that the K models stand out for the facilities they offer for carrying out overclock and the F’s have a faulty graphics accelerator and so it doesn’t work, but the rest of the package would have to do its job normally (making processors has more in common with making cookies than what one would imagine as a manufacturing process high precision).

The list of processors leaked by Microsoft would have been confirmed by GIGABYTE, or at least that is what the Twitter account @momomo_us has indicated. The list that allegedly comes from GIGABYTE is more complete by specifying frequencies, TDP, level 3 cache sizes and even the die used by each model.

At general levels, there is nothing revolutionary in the list, except that some models such as the Core i5-13400 will make use of the Alder Lake (C0) and Raptor Lake (B0) dice, so it is speculated that the latter could have functions disabled in order to have a performance and operation similar to that which would be had with the technology Golden Cove. The origin would be in an attempt to take advantage of B0 matrices that have come out very defective, but that are fully functional in a real environment, so it would be a maneuver by Intel to minimize the amount of waste (take better advantage of the means and resources of available is a way to improve profitability).

And so far the models of Intel’s Raptor Lake generation, which is not necessarily the technology that has arrived for it, seeing that many models will recycle what is implemented in Alder Lake. If you want to know what Raptor Lake is capable of, we invite you to read our extensive and detailed analysis on the matter, through which we have put the Core i9-13900K and Core i5-13600K models to the test.
