CES 2022. Samsung has just introduced the Galaxy S21 FE 5G and as planned it is a variant of its high-end S-series smart phone, which will be available from January 11 for $ 699.
It was sung and after numerous leaks, Samsung has taken advantage of the CES framework to announce the launch of its first smartphone of 2022. A new terminal in the ‘Fan Edition’ series what includes “some of the most beloved aspects of the Galaxy S21: an eye-catching design, powerful performance, a professional-grade camera, and seamless ecosystem connectivity“, TM Roh, president and CEO of Samsung’s Mobile eXperience business, explained at the presentation.
Very similar in terms of design to the S21, it uses materials such as glass and polycarbonate in a slim 7.9mm body, with the distinctive frame that Samsung calls Contour-Cut to house the main, certified waterproof camera module. IP68 and four new color finishes to choose between olive green, lavender, white or graphite.
Samsung has not skimped on screen quality and mounts a Dynamic panel AMOLED 2X with 6.4 inches diagonal, FHD + resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling frequency of up to 240 Hz. The terminal mounts the Gorilla Glass Victus protection layer.
As for its SoC engine, Samsung has opted for the same one of its older brothers, a Snapdragon 888 from Qualcomm accompanied by 6/8 Gbyte and 128/256 Gbyte RAM configurations for internal storage.
Although slightly reducing performance over the standard S21, the camera system will also offer a great level, with 12 MP ultra-wide triple sensor and 123-degree field of view, dual-phase detection autofocus and a hardware image stabilizer, and a maximum aperture size of f / 2.2. The other two are a 12 MP wide angle and an 8 MP telephoto lens. The front camera for selfies will be 32 megapixels with a maximum aperture of f / 2.2.
The Galaxy S21 FE 5G has a 4,500 mAh battery, with fast charging via USB Type-C cable of 25 watts and wireless charging of 15W. In addition, it supports PowerShare function, so Qi-compatible third-party devices can be placed on the back of the Galaxy S21 FE and be powered.

Samsung’s new smart phone will be available in the international market from January 11 with olive green, lavender, white or graphite color finishes. It will pre-install the latest available software version, Android 12 and the new One UI 4 interface with which the Galaxy S21 have already been updated and in the following configurations that start from an official recommended price of $ 699:
