Last summer, before the release of Starfield, Microsoft released an Xbox controller themed to the game. Currently, this is no longer available, because it was a limited edition. Well, now it is NZXT who announces a product based on the Bethesda game. Specifically, they have developed a NZXT Starfield H5 Flow chassis… That will launch in 2024.
As usual in recent years, the launch of Starfield has come with more criticism than anything else. Triple A games are increasingly of poorer quality, at least during the launch period. Later patches are released and, a year later, they are already playable games.
Release schedules have been set for huge games that are totally absurd. The games are launched at least two years in advance of what was once normal and clear, that’s how broken they come to the market. A regrettable practice that turns buyers into secret beta testers.
NZXT will launch its Starfield chassis next year
So far we have already seen a few products based on the game from the developer Bethesda, recently acquired by Microsoft. In addition to the Xbox controller, Seagate has released storage drives based on this game.
Something we hadn’t seen so far was a chassis based on the game. It seems that Besthesda and NZXT have reached a unique agreement to create a custom gaming chassis. Specifically, this chassis is called Starfield H5 Flow. Really, it’s nothing more than NZXT’s H5 Flow chassis but with a paint job based on the game.
We can see that the design seems to emulate a box, without further ado. On the right side cover (if we look at the box from the front) the Starfield logo appears in large and little else. A fairly flat design.
It maintains the typical grille front of the chassis used as a base, so there are no changes in this regard. The good thing is that it allows great airflow inward from the front. It has a large tempered glass side window that allows you to see the interior.
It integrates a fan at the bottom for cooling the graphics card. In addition, on the front we find two F120Q fans installed in white, so that it has a homogeneous design. In addition, it has a kind of strip with Constellation colors, to cover the wiring. Also included is the “cover” that hides the power supply.
Price and availability
NZXT highlights that this is a limited edition and the number of units is very low. Currently, it can be reserved through the company’s website in its North American version. It cannot be reserved anywhere else.
Starfield H5 Flow and other products that the brand will launch based on Starfield will not hit the market until 2024. Possibly, all the products will be seen during the CES that will be held in early January in Las Vegas.
We must highlight that the game was launched in September so, among other things, it will arrive at least 4 months late. Quite strange, since these things are usually planned in advance so that they are available at the launch of the game or, at the latest, a few weeks later, not so many months late.
