What this tool does is scan all network devices and it could also provide remote control of computers. In this case it is easy to use, we would simply have to put the entire network range that our home network uses to see who connects to your Wi-Fi.
Angry IP Scanner
Angry IP Scanner is free open source software that works as a very fast IP address and port scanner. Thanks to the results it offers, we will be able to check who connects to your Wi-Fi and wired network. If you want to try this program, you can download it from its website. This tool can scan IP addresses in any range, and also, in any of its ports. It should also be noted that it is cross-platform since it can be installed on Linux and MacOS. Its way of working is to ping each IP address to check if it is online, then it resolves its hostname and scans ports.
In this case, it is not an option that we recommend to carry out this specific task, as there are simpler options that do not have antivirus. Avast antivirus in its free version includes an option to perform this task. You can download it from here but the normal thing to do so is that you do not have an antivirus or you have it already installed. If you want to see who connects to your Wi-Fi using this program, double-click on its icon in the taskbar and go to the section Protection.

As you have seen, we have multiple tools for Windows to be able to check who connects to your Wi-Fi and also to your local home network. If you have a router that allows you to use a mobile application to manage it, you may have a section where it shows you the list of clients that we currently have connected and those that have connected in the past.
