LEGO and Nintendo are back together again for Luigi’s Mansion

When the Super Mario X LEGO series entered the world of colored bricks, fans of the classic Nintendo franchise and those of the timeless LEGO could not help but celebrate the event. Now, after numerous sets dedicated to the more classic universe of Super Mario, Nintendo and LEGO have announced that they will return to collaborate for three new sets, this time dedicated to the spookiest Luigi’s Mansion.

An announcement that, of course, could only be made on Halloween (with a video).

LEGO and Nintendo return to collaborate for the new sets dedicated to Luigi’s Mansion

The first game in the series was released for GameCube in 2001 and was a pleasant surprise as a departure from the main series. While not really terrifying, the franchise’s theme tends to a more spooky side of things; and the three new LEGO sets from Luigi’s Mansion are no exception.

The three sets have been called Lab and Poltergust, Haunt-and-Seek And Entryway and will arrive on store shelves and on the official online store LEGO starting January 1, 2022.

In the meantime, however, we can preview it directly below:

Unfortunately, no further information has been released on the three sets that can be glimpsed in the footage, but it seems that none of these will include Luigi (or King Boo).
