Lenovo to launch Windows 11 laptop with Snapdragon 7c ARM processor

Lenovo has unveiled the latest batch of its devices aimed directly at students. And already now, with a fair degree of confidence, it can be argued that the most attractive offer is a tablet with Windows 11, based on the Snapdragon 7c processor. The company suggests that the tablet, dubbed the 10w Tablet, could be great for elementary school students as the device features a rugged rubber bumper design with Corning Gorilla Glass on a 10.1-inch Full HD display.

The screen, by the way, has an aspect ratio of 16:10, as well as a brightness of 400 nits. He will also receive a 2-megapixel front and 8-megapixel main camera. An equally important point is that the tablet comes with a removable keyboard and an additional stylus. This 10w tablet, by the way, will also have a 30 Wh battery, and it will come with 8 gigabytes of LPDDR4x RAM, as well as up to 128 gigabytes of eMMC storage. The disadvantage for some users may be that the tablet is equipped with only one USB-C port.

But to smooth things over for now, it still has a 3.5mm headphone jack, which in turn should potentially help students not fiddle with Bluetooth settings in Windows when plugging in a wireless headset. The aforementioned tablet weighs 573 grams, while with the keyboard connected, this figure increases to 1.1 kilograms. Also noteworthy is Lenovo’s suggestion that the Snapdragon platform used at the heart of the device will help provide extremely high levels of performance, reliable Wi-Fi connectivity, and extended battery life.

And yes, of course, it’s important to note here that the experience of Windows devices based on ARM processors has historically not been good. However, we have not yet seen and do not know how exactly devices based on Windows 11 work with similar chips. And that is why it will be really interesting to look at how exactly the new product will work – will it be able to surpass its predecessors in this regard, or will no positive changes be expected? We will be able to find out the answer to this only after the release, which is scheduled for April, and the minimum cost is 10w.
