Masters of the Universe: Revelation shows itself with the new story trailer for Part 1

Netflix has released a new story trailer for Masters of the Universe: Revelation, the new animated series based on the Mattel franchise born from the famous toys of our childhood.

The promotional video, published on the tube and visible right below, is dedicated to Part 1 of the series, consisting of 5 episodes, which will debut this month exclusively on the streaming platform’s catalog.

When is Masters of the Universe: Revelation released?

Part 1 of the show will be available in all countries where the service is active starting from 23 July 2021.

The final battle begins. Will the Guardians of Grayskull save Eternia and the fate of the entire Universe?
The end is only the beginning.

Kevin Smith, very nerdy showrunner and executive producer of this animated series, has already explained that every episode of the first part of Masters of the Universe: Revelation, is inspired by a cult film of the 80s, and to be precise:

  • episode 1: Superman II (1980)
  • episode 2: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)
  • episode 3: Batman (1989)
  • episode 4: Hellraiser (1987)
  • episode 5: Masters of the Universe (1987)

A stellar cast for the new He-Man animated series

The animated series is a direct sequel to the classic series He-Man and the rulers of the universe 1983, produced by Powerhouse Animation Studio (aka the animators who also made Castlevania).

The sequel will see a stellar cast with names like Mark Hamill, Chris Wood is Sara Michelle Gellar, which will follow Teela’s journey to save Eternia and ultimately the final battle between He-Man and Skeletor. With the arrival of the Masters of the Universe board game and the new figures, these past few months have been truly thrilling for Masters fans.
