Regarding the connectivity of this camera, It has Wi-Fi in the 2.4GHz band and in the 5GHz band, so we are going to connect it directly to the WiFi router in our home or to a WiFi access point. An important detail is that in the configuration wizard it only allows us to connect to 2.4GHz, but later we do have the option to change the WiFi network to the 5GHz band. By incorporating Bluetooth we will be able to install it very easily and quickly through the mydlink app, in addition, it has support for the WPA3-Personal protocol, so if you have a WiFi router or AP with this type of encryption, you will to be able to connect this camera without problems and have the maximum possible security in communications. We also have one Fast Ethernet port (10/100Mbps) in the power cable itself, therefore, we have the possibility to cable this IP camera to have the best performance and the minimum possible latency.

Unboxing and first impressions
The first thing that caught our attention about this camera is that it is designed to be placed directly on the wall, it is something that we must take into account, it is not designed to be placed on a table like other D-Link models. Inside the box we have everything necessary to place it perfectly in the final location, the most advisable thing would be to put it on a wall in exterior places or on a column, with the aim of being able to cover the 340º that allows us to rotate the camera horizontal.
We must also take into account the quality of the materials, since it has the IP65 certification against dust and water, this means that we are going to be able to put it in outdoor environments without any problem. In addition, we have 2K resolution, two-way audio, infrared night vision, micro SD card slot up to 256GB, and continuous recording or based on detection events, and even recording on an NVR either by hardware or by software on a NAS server. .
The recording in the mydlink Cloud will be free during the first year if no more cameras are purchased with the same account, or a payment plan is purchased, however, it must be taken into account that these payment plans are made at the level of the account, and not by camera individually.
