New D-Link webinars for technical networking training

Technical sessions of these webinars and dates

D-Link is going to carry out several very interesting technical sessions, related to WiFi wireless networks, wired networks with switching as a fundamental pillar, but they will also explain to us what a firewall is for and what the new equipment that is to come from the manufacturer is like. Next, you have all the dates of these webinars and what they consist of.

Nuclias Connect

This technical session will be Friday October 28 at 10.30, as usual. In this webinar we can see a step-by-step tutorial on how to provision multiple WiFi access points in a new network, using the official Nuclias Connect app for iOS and Android. Here we will learn about everything that this software is capable of for the unified administration of both access points and compatible switches, and that is that the latest version of Nuclias Connect for the PC allows us to centrally manage the switches of the DGS range -1210 supported.

The following week, the Friday November 4 at 10.30 we will have the second session related to Nuclias Connect. In this case we will learn how to install the Nuclias Conenct software on a cloud server to have Cloud access, and be able to manage and control multiple access points from different locations. Thanks to the cloud installation, we can access from anywhere for centralized monitoring and management of APs and switches.

Nuclias Cloud

If you are going to manage large networks with dozens of WiFi access points and switches, and you want to do it natively in the cloud, Nuclias Cloud is the ideal solution for it. In the webinar that we will have the Friday November 11 at 10.30, we can see practical cases of WiFi networks and switching with this technology, we can also see different network topologies for each environment, both small academies and large colleges or universities. Thanks to Nuclias Cloud we will have a native management in the cloud, very easy to install and configure.

In addition, they will also explain everything about the new DBG-2000 firewall, which is a device compatible with Nuclias Cloud and which allows us to add professional advanced security to our network, and which includes really interesting content filtering for educational center scenarios. These filter lists are updated via the Internet automatically, so you are always up to date.

advanced switching

If you want to learn all about network loops, how to avoid ring loops with ERPS, and be introduced to practical usage scenarios, the Friday, November 18 at 10:30 a.m. you have an appointment with this webinar. In this very technical and advanced session, you will be able to learn everything about how to avoid network loops, what the LBD and STP protocols are for, how the ERPS protocol works for ring topologies, as well as how to configure the latter from scratch.

You should keep in mind that this session is really technical, but necessary to provide a high-performance local network without failures.

Security with the DBG-2000 firewall

If you want to learn what are the key features of the new VPN firewall and DBG-2000 router that the manufacturer has launched for its Nuclias Cloud platform, on Friday, November 25 at 10:30 a.m. you have an appointment with this webinar. In this technical session they will talk about very interesting topics:

  • Demonstration of remote management.

If you want to learn everything that this equipment can provide you, in this technical session you will be able to do it.

Security in Smart Managed Switches

Smart Managed switches have important security measures for the security of the professional wired local network.
