Since Thursday morning, Orange subscribers have been having some difficulty connecting to their mailbox. For others, it is simply their ADSL that has died. For now, the origin of this failure remains unknown and the operator is content on Twitter to invite users to contact Orange_conseil.

Contrary to what customer service told us earlier in the afternoon, the situation has still not recovered. In the early evening, we contacted the operator’s customer service again, who this time assured us that “connection problems and messaging access bugs will be resolved either in the evening or tomorrow morning at the latest“. It remains to be seen when exactly everything will be restored, and if the operator will make a commercial gesture to compensate for the inconvenience caused.
Whether it is to connect to the Internet or to access their e-mail, the problems therefore persist at Orange. Remember that it is the ADSL subscribers who are affected. Fiber subscribers do not seem to be affected by web connection issues.

After the blackout that hit Mozilla Firefox on Wednesday, January 13, 2022, it is the turn of Orange subscribers to encounter difficulties in accessing certain services of the operator. Since 10 a.m. this morning, complaints are increasing on the DownDector site, a platform specializing in the identification of anomalies and breakdowns that affect the most popular services.
According to the first testimonies, many customers are unable to connect to their mailbox. “I live in the Périgord. The Orange Mail has not been working since this morning. This has been going on for several hours already. My Gmail is still working ”, writes a user on DownDetector.
Orange has not yet spoken about this outage
“No access to Orange messaging since this morning … Is it a general blackout and how long can it last ”, tells another. “Thanks @Orange @Sosh, no more access to our emails can not receive home work for my daughter. The teacher sent everything and since this morning, we are still waiting. Orange mailbox failure… ”, denounces another client, annoyed.
For other users, this Orange failure also affects their ADSL, some explaining that their connection makes the yoyo, with multiple stalls precisely. For the moment, the operator has not made an official statement on this failure, simply inviting unhappy customers on Twitter to contact @Orange_conseil. In fact and at the time of writing, we do not know the origin of the problem, nor if a return to normal is expected soon.
