Radeon Monster Profile allows the RX 6800 XT to outperform the RTX 3090 Ti

Yuri Bubliy, creator of the Hydra overclock tool for AMD Ryzen processors, has announced the inclusion in this of Radeon Monster Profile (RMP)a profile utility that allows you to maximize the brand graphics built with the RDNA 2 architecture.

The developer explains that Radeon Monster Profile takes care of optimizing performance and watts using a new voltage/frequency curve through a combination of unique settings. This, according to the version and the results published by Bubliy himself, allows graphics based on RDNA 2 to their full potential.

Basically, what RMP does is increase performance by raising the frequency at which the graphics processor works relative to the operating voltage. By applying this on top of an AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card, an increase in working speed of 300Hz can be achieved compared to the standard configuration. Consequently, the yield increases by up to 13%.

The improvement that RMP brings to the RX 6800 XT is enough to surpass the RTX 3090 Ti in terms of performance, or at least that is what Bubliy has reported after performing a test with 3DMark’s Time Spy and comparing it with the result that the NVIDIA model obtained on another website. But perhaps the most interesting data is the number of frames per dollar, where the RX 6800 XT beats the RTX 3090 Ti on all levels.

It is worth mentioning that we are only talking about profiles that allow us to better squeeze the RNDA 2 graphs and that it is not an official AMD product, but something created by a third party, so its use is at the user’s own risk and what’s more, one of the requirements of RMP, which apparently is still unfinished, is to have a good dissipation system to guarantee the best results. The developer has already announced that it plans to support RDNA 3 graphics.
