season 2 is official, discover its novelties

Activision is finally revealing what’s coming to Season 2 of Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Pacific in a few days.

After being delayed by almost two weeks, Season 2 of the Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Pacific games have been unveiled by Activision. This centered its novelties around the arrival of armed war machines and chemical weapons, which upset the course of the Second World War. Hang in there, lots of changes are coming.

Warzone goes into chemical weapons fashion

First in Warzone, players will be treated to a new class of bombs and ammo called Nebula V, which releases poisonous gas. They will also have to watch out for the Nebula V transport trucks, which criss-cross the map, shooting on sight and sometimes deploying aerial reinforcements. If you manage to destroy it, you might be lucky enough to come across an intact Nebula V bomb.

Then Activision deploys two new points of interest: the chemical factory and the underground chemical weapons research laboratory. These two new locations contain particularly rare loot, including the new bombs and ammunition. They are also guarded by armed guards, so you will have to be extra vigilant to enter them.

Finally, Warzone sees the arrival of a new aerial vehicle, the small bomber plane. And for the more daring, Activision presents the redeployment balloons, which allow you to return to the air to move by parachute across the map. All this is available in two new game modes: Caldera Clash, a variant of team deathmatch, up to 48 players per team, and Rebirth Iron Trials, a mode designed for the most competitive.

New in Vanguard too

In Vanguard, there are also many new features. On the map side first, with the arrival of Casablanca, a medium-sized map located in the middle of a Moroccan market, and Gondola, also a medium-sized map that plays on depth, like that of a train for example.

Players will also be able to equip themselves with the new sticky bomb (Semtex) and use the killstreak turret attack, already at work in CODE WWII. During the season, you will also be able to enjoy several new features not yet detailed, such as the weapon game mode but with armed vehicles and war machines.

Season 2 will be available from February 14, right in time for Valentine’s Day. A special update will also be planned for this purpose, with special skins and cosmetic elements for the occasion.
