Telpark buys Inpasa and consolidates its presence in Spain

Telpark adds to its portfolio 1,852 new parking spaces. She has done it thanks to acquisition of 69.9% of Inpasa. This operation represents a new advance in its expansion plan in Spain, which has intensified in recent months with the purchase of assets under concession in different cities such as San Sebastián, Almería, or Granada.

Entry into Inpasa also enables the arrival of Telpark with more than 1,800 seats in large cities such as Saragossa and Ourense, and the reinforcement of its presence in other towns such as Majadahonda, Guadalajara or Palencia. The company, an expert in state-of-the-art urban mobility solutions, will work to promote traffic in the areas where the car parks are located and respond to the movement needs of both residents and rotating users.

Specifically, with this corporate operation, Telpark incorporates the following assets into its portfolio, with an average remaining duration of the concession of 18 years:

  • Parking Plaza San Francisco (Zaragoza), with 480 spaces, 160 of them for residents
  • Parking Plaza Constitución (Majadahonda), with 418 places.
  • Parking Plaza Santo Domingo (Guadalajara), with 307 spaces, 102 of them for residents
  • Parking Plaza Alameda (Orense), with 321 spaces, 118 of them for residents
  • Parking Plaza Abilio Calderón (Palencia), with 326 spaces, 128 of them for residents

An integral mobility model at the service of the citizen

Telpark focuses its business on the development of urban mobility solutions at the service of citizens under a model of innovation and constant improvement. Its Telpark app, launched in 2013 and a pioneer in the sector, is today the basis for the digitization of the comprehensive management of mobility services offered by the company.

In addition, it offers different options adapted to all needs, such as contracting subscriptions with significant economic advantages, reserving a space so that tourists can park without problems when they arrive in the cities, or the Multipass service, which allows parking in a car park concrete any day and without the need to set the date in advance. Likewise, with the Express Entrance service, the user can enter and exit the car park without a ticket and with the automatic opening of the barrier.

Telpark currently has a presence in 149 municipalities and manage more than 362,000 seats, both on public roads and in car parks on the Iberian Peninsula. In addition, as part of its commitment to promoting new mobility models, it is immersed in an ambitious deployment of its network of electric charging points and currently has more than 380.
