The CEO of Vodafone Spain, Colman Deegan, announces his resignation

Among them, the Director of mergers and acquisitions, CFO at Vodafone India and Vodafone Italy, and CEO of Vodafone Turkey. In this country, during his leadership, Vodafone doubled its revenue while advancing in digital transformation and promoting the digitization of the operator.

During the last two years, as CEO of Vodafone Spain, Deegan has been in charge of leading the company at a critical moment in the telecommunications market in Spain, driving the transformation of the business focused on greater efficiency and simplification of processes. He has also favored the implementation of a new commercial strategy, as well as the entry into new businesses. At the same time, he has strengthened relations with the administration, in order to improve investment, profitability and competitiveness in the sector.

Vodafone Spain, which has already begun the selection process for a new CEO, sand will integrate as of this January 12 in the European Cluster. With this step, the Group will be simplified, and the operator in Spain will have the support of a management group with Serpil Timuray, the CEO of the Vodafone European Cluster, at the helm.
