Directly from GamesCon comes the launch trailer for the PlayStation 5 version of The Medium, the psychological horror game of Blooper Team.
Below, in fact, we can admire the promotional video of the title already released previously on Xbox Series X | S and PC on January 28, 2021.
Release date of The Medium for PS5
This trailer shows us the key elements of the story and the main features and locations of the game that will debut on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in a few days, next September 3. Among the sequences of the trailer we also find a presentation of Hound, a mysterious entity belonging to the spirit world.
A few weeks ago Bloober Team had published an interesting video explaining how The Medium allows you to make the most of the PS5 hardware and the DualSense controller, offering players the unique experience of exploring two worlds simultaneously and in an immersive way.
The Medium is a third person psychological horror game that features innovative dual reality gameplay.
Players will take on the role of Marianne, a medium with different psychic abilities, and will explore the real world and the world of spirits alternately and simultaneously to uncover a dark mystery while facing disturbing secrets, sinister spirits and devious puzzles that only a medium can solve.
Pre-order of the game and the soundtrack
Players can pre-order the game on PlayStation Store, with a 10% discount for PS Plus members before launch. Players who pre-order the game will receive the original digital soundtrack (by Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikowski) and The Art of The Medium (digital artbook).
Furthermore, Bloober Team and Black Screen Records reveal that the soundtrack “The Medium Original Soundtrack” will be released on vinyl and CD, in October with pre-orders already available.
