After the announcement of the release date of The Witcher 2, there are also important news regarding the videogame franchise based on the novels of Andrzej Sapkowski, especially on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, a title that also contributed as a source of inspiration for the Netflix show.
Obviously we are talking about the Complete Edition of the game, the next-gen version of the third installment of the saga of CD Projekt Red which will arrive this year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S and PC.
Never-before-seen free DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition
In addition to the technical improvements of this version for the new Sony and Microsoft consoles, graphic and visual updates such as a significantly different cover than the original, the “new” game will include unreleased and free DLC with content never seen before.
According to the Twitter post published by the Polish software house, updates and expansions of the Complete Edition will be inspired by the Netflix TV series starring Hemry Cavill as the witcher Geralt of Rivia.
Philipp Weber, designer of CD Projekt RED, just about Cavill revealed that it will be possible to wear armor inspired by the one used by the English actor during the first season of the TV series.

Obviously, based on this revelation, we expect news regarding other main characters of the game such as Ciri and Yennefer.
At the moment, any hypothesis is comparable to mere speculation, waiting for further details on these new free downloadable content, information that should arrive in the next few weeks as well as the official announcement of the release date of the Complete Edition.
