Fort: MS Edizioni announces the localization in Italian

One of the first things that catches the eye when taking a first look at Fort is its graphic layout, which is very similar to Root, a title that at first glance was able to gather interest in the appearance but which then convinced thanks to the gameplay. The two titles, in fact, have the illustrator in common Kyle Ferrin, with such a distinctive trait and which also collaborated to create Oath.

But, unlike these, Fort is an easier to access title, suitable both for mechanics and for the theme even for a younger audience, playable in a time between 20 and 40 minutes. It is a card game for 2 to 4 players, in which we can become children again, in which the only thing that mattered was to have as many friends as possible, to make delicious snacks (better if based on pizza) and to build the most beautiful and impressive fort of all. In the title all of this is rendered with a mechanic of deck-building in which the cards represent possible actions, including “following” or “repeating” the actions of others in their turns. At the end of the game, only the player with the best fort, ie victory points, will be declared the winner.

The Fort board game, created by Grant Rodiek, will arrive in its Italian edition with MS in the course of 2022.
