This gaming router is aimed at a gamer public, the Asuswrt firmware in this model has a quite different design compared to the normal Asuswrt, however, the functionalities are the same as always.
The ASUS TUF Gaming TUF-AX5400 is a gaming router with Simultaneous dual-band and AX5400-class Wi-Fi 6, therefore, we can achieve a speed of up to 574Mbps in the 2.4GHz band and a speed of up to 4804Mbps in the 5GHz band thanks to the support for the 160MHz channel width and the Wi-Fi 6 standard. This equipment has of a total of six fairly large external antennas, so they will provide us with perfect coverage and really high speed. This equipment has all the technologies incorporated in the Wi-Fi 6 standard such as MU-MIMO, OFDMA, Beamforming, TWT and many more.
Of course, this router has support for WPA3-Personal, so we can adequately protect our WiFi wireless network and connect compatible wireless clients. This equipment also has ASUS AiMesh to form a complete mesh WiFi network, in addition, we have the possibility of configuring AiMesh with WPA3-Personal security to protect it perfectly.
Regarding the wired characteristics, we have one Gigabit Ethernet port for Internet WAN, the Asuswrt firmware supports VLANs on the WAN, VLANs per port to provide IPTV services and even has the Movistar Triple VLAN FTTH profile. This equipment also has a total of four Gigabit Ethernet ports for the LAN, we can configure the Jumbo Frames at 9K and we even have the possibility to configure the Link Aggregation with the LAN 1 and LAN 2 ports. configure it as Gaming Port so that this port has the highest priority over the rest. This model has a high-performance USB 3.0 port to share files and folders on the local network and the Internet.
